Our very own Chef Delee stars in a great video series recently produced and published by Chicago Tribune titled, “How to Rescue Ugly, Overlooked Fruits & Vegetables from a Sad Fate”. This is the first video in a brand new series featuring various chefs around town who are asked to buy “ugly” produce and cook it into a beautiful dish. In the video, Kris uses overlooked, imperfect veggies from the Lincoln Park Farmer’s Market to create a gorgeous braised pork belly dish served with fresh zucchini, tomatoes and radishes.
